    Analysis of cognitive factors

The EDINT (Intellectual Development Scales) tests measure the set of mental abilities that reflect the structure of intelligence and are organized into the following factors:

    • Reasoning Factor
    • Verbal Factor
    • Numerical Factor
    • Visuospatial Factor

    Advanced cognitive analysis

EDINT enables the school to conduct mass testing with all its students. Optionally, it could have access to a useful IQ for the detection of high ability students.

    Verbal Analogies

    📌RV

    📋 Logical - Verbal Reasoning

Specific test of reasoning and verbal comprehension that measures the ability to induce analogous relationships between concepts.

Relationships assessed are: all-part, cause-effect, use, similarity, coordination, supposition/subordination, proximity, antonymy/opposition.

    Numerical series

    📌RN

    📋 Logical - Mathematical Reasoning

It is an specific test of numerical series reasoning or ability to determine logical regularities in a sequence of numbers.

In order to analyze the series, the following concepts are taken into account: types of operations, types of numbers, complexity and level of abstraction.

    Numerical Problems

    📌Nn

    📋 Logical - Mathematical Reasoning

It measures the speed and security in calculation in solving basic arithmetic/geometric problems and in understanding the symbolic arithmetic elements with which each problem is approached. Depending on the level, it will require the use of: four basic operations, fractions and decimals, recognition of operations with parentheses, use of weight, capacity and length measurements as metric system measures, time, distance, length, equals and proportion measurements.

    Logical matrices

    📌RE

    📋Visuospatial

It measures inductive reasoning to relate complex data sets visually coded in the form of geometric figures. The objective is to find the laws that direct serializations and deduce a continuation to the set of laws.

    📌Vv

    📋 Logical Reasoning - Verbal

It measures an important aspect of verbal intelligence within the semantic factor. It requires above all recognition of integrated meanings of situations about which one must have some previous knowledge.

    Figure Turns and Laces

    📌Ee

    📋 Visuospatial

It measures the ability to rotate geometric figures, maintaining their relative size, distance and position relationships and checking the suitability of figures with the surface from which they have been cut.

    Efficiency

    📌Other indicators

    📋 Performance

It tests the ratio of hits in relation to the total number of answers given. In combination with the speed indicator it helps us to understand if the student is more reflexive or intuitive in order to achieve a certain level of effectiveness.

    📌Other indicators

    📋 Performance

It measures the number of answers given in the time available. In combination with the effectiveness indicator it helps us to understand if the student who responds in more or less time is more or less effective. In other words, if he/she is intuitive or more impulsive in his or her responses.

  • Why is this test important?

    For teachers

It is a test of interest to teachers as it offers information on cognitive aspects useful for:

    • Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of their students.
    • Having objective information that allows them to adjust their teaching activity to the characteristics of their students, thus favoring the teaching-learning process.
    • Anticipating possible difficulties that students may encounter in learning.
    • Achieving excellence and educational inclusion.

    For parents

This test provides information that is highly valued by families as it allows them to:

    • Know the strengths and weaknesses of their children through the results report.
    • Obtain objective information that helps them to understand their children's academic performance and anticipate their success.

    For the management team

t is a very interesting test for the directors of educational centers, since it allows them to know how their students are developing their cognitive abilities; those that will allow them to reach the current learning and to continue with the future learning successfully.

The platform offers filtered information that allows you to compare groups, courses and stages in order to:

    • Keep track of your students.
    • Obtain an overview with strategic information that facilitates the decision making process at a pedagogical level.
    • Make visible to families the efforts and concern for attending to diversity in a real way.

    For counselors and psychologists

Due to its clinical and pedagogical value, this test becomes a very valuable tool for the school's counselor or psychologist. Since in a simple and automatic way it allows them to obtain objective information about the cognitive profiles of their students with the aim of:

    • Detecting efficiently in time and resources those students who require specific intervention.
    • Identifying the most capable students to avoid the loss of talent in the school and to respond to their training needs to avoid undesirable situations such as school failure.
    • Minimizing evaluation time to increase intervention time for students, families and teachers.
    • Attending to diversity in a real and individualised way.
    • Encouraging excellence and educational inclusion.
