What are teacher competencies?
Continuous development allows teachers to stay updated with the latest educational needs and thereby benefit their students' learning.
Teacher self-evaluations provide information on the current state of various competencies that are necessary and highly valued for the educational exercise, generating reflection and promoting the precise actions for the improvement of each one.
Additionally, students' evaluation of each of their teachers enriches the teacher's introspection and contributes to the achievement of the desired objectives within their pedagogical work.

How do I apply the test?
You will need the username, password and web address of your school's platform. If you don't have this information, talk to your advisor.
At least one day before application carry out the following steps:
1. Check the manual
The application of Habilmind tests is a fairly intuitive process. However, it is recommended to review the corresponding test manual before applying, especially the first time. It can be reviewed directly from your mobile device or on your computer. If you prefer, it can also be downloaded and printed.
2. Apply the test on yourself
If this is the first time you are going to take the test, we suggest that you take it before giving it to your teachers.
Note: In the case of the tests that are generated with URL you can explore the test to know in detail the experience that the teachers will have. See step 53. Check that the list of teachers is correct
This is fundamental! Imagine that you are going to start the test and one teacher is missing! Or you are going to do the test and suddenly a teacher appears in the list who is not there!
Finally, we suggest that you check that the listings within the Habilmind platform correspond to the real teachers.
Note: For the self-evaluation of UCM Teaching Competencies it is essential to have the ADULT group RubricCD active.
4. Generate the temporary key and apply the test
Note: This step applies to the Behavioral Styles, Decision Making Styles, UCM Teaching Competencies and Digital Teaching Competencies tests.
The temporary key expires after a few hours and you can configure it. In the following video we explain everything.
It's very simple
However, have the number of your advisor at hand in case you need assistance during the application. Don't forget to open the manual website on your smartphone.
5. Send the URL of the survey
Nota: Este paso es exclusivo para la pruebas de Competencias Emocionales Docentes y Evaluación del desempeño.
Locate the 360 Evaluation box within the platform.
Once inside, choose the survey you want to apply. Select the option Realizar and copy the URL.
Esta misma se debe copiar y enviar a los docentes o alumnos que evaluarán.
Nota: Con la URL puedes explorar la prueba para conocer a detalle la experiencia que tendrán docentes o alumnos.

Teacher emotional skills

10 - 20 minutes

It is recommended after two months of the course and at the end of the course if improvement interventions have been established.
